All day wedding with Oxfordshire Wedding Entertainment

With my ultimate All Day Presenter & DJ package, we’ll meet up for a complimentary consultation meeting before you even confirm that you wish to book Oxfordshire Wedding Entertainment for your wedding!
At the meeting we’ll go through what is it that you’re looking for on your wedding day, how you can imagine it’s going to be, how you want to feel and how your guests will feel. I am full of great ideas and advice from my previous extensive wedding entertainment experience – I’ll listen carefully to your own requirements and then make any suggestions I feel would enhance your wedding day.
After the meeting I’ll provide you with a tailored quotation to consider at your own leisure. I’m then available by email, phone or video chat to finalise details right up to the big day!

  • Your choice of music for the ceremony (observing the registrar’s restrictions on content). Edited as necessary so that the track plays from where you want it to.

  • Everything can be set up prior to your guests arriving or the lighting can be set up after the wedding breakfast for a tidier look

The Ceremony

I will arrive and set up as we will have previously discussed, using a very discrete Bose sound system to produce professional sound quality for your ceremony. As your guests arrive it will be to music of your choice, playing in the background at a low level to set the mood.

As you enter the marriage room your chosen musical accompaniment will play (often the Bridal March) and perfectly timed to fade as you approach the registrar. During the ceremony more of your chosen music will be played at the scheduled points such as the signing of the register and at the recessional as you and your new spouse walk back down the aisle.
Your choice of music will then be playing as your guests leave the marriage room. Depending on the venue layout we may then continue playing background music during your drinks reception or photographs, or work with the venue staff to re-arrange the room in time for the wedding breakfast.
Throughout the ceremonial period, should you require any special announcements to be made then I will be more than happy to perform these for you.

The Wedding Breakfast

Music of your choice playing in the background and at a low level as your guests take their seats, continuing throughout the wedding breakfast. This will allow you and your guests to hold conversations whilst setting the feel and mood for this very special meal. This period is the ideal opportunity to play some of the less danceable requests that you love.
When it is time for the introductions and speeches, either I, the venue manager or your Toastmaster can make the relevant announcements. Microphones can be provided for your use with a brief outline of how best to hold and speak through them (all discussed at a quiet point prior to the meal).
If the wedding cake is to be cut between the wedding breakfast and the first dance, this can also be announced to guests and either a simple cake cutting or the cake cutting ceremony can be performed.

The Evening Party

At the appropriate time, the music level is increased slightly and gradually more upbeat music is played prior to the time of your first dance. Your guests are encouraged to gather and the wedding couple will be introduced to the room for their first dance. You may want certain guests to be invited to join at a specific point, or a second dance can be added for all to join in?

If I’m working alongside other entertainers (bands, musicians etc.) I’ll have already been in touch with them beforehand to discuss playlists and timings in order to present you with a seamless evening’s entertainment.
Later, a bouquet toss can be co-ordinated, or the buffet meal announced – whatever aspects of the evening need co-ordinating, I’m here to keep everyone informed and encouraging them to participate.
Music requests are welcomed from you or your guests throughout the evening, unless you’d rather I didn’t! I’ll already have your “wish-list” and “must avoid” instructions and will arrange the music accordingly to suit the crowd during the party, filling in with similar music where necessary.
Towards the end of the evening I can either build up to a crescendo or slow things down a little to suit your requirements and any specific “send off” song you may have in mind!
